Many use the premise of the SEO skyscraper technique to build backlinks and rank higher on Google, but does it work?
You might be asking what is the skyscraper technique and how it can help my business. The answer is pretty simple: the skyscraper technique is simply finding a very high ranked and well linked to post that discusses similar content that your blog wants to talk about then writing an even better, more current, or more in-depth article on it. You then ask the sites that backlinked to it to link to your own longer, better post. And obviously, they’ll say yes right because your post is better!
